Terms of Service

Linabase is a managed Postgres backend with authentication, file storage, and related developer tooling. We operate the infrastructure (servers, databases, object storage, supporting services); you build and run your application on top of it. The technical specifics are described in the documentation.

• You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. Linabase is not designed for use by children and we do not knowingly accept signups from anyone younger.
• You are responsible for the security of your account credentials and for everything that happens under your account. If you suspect unauthorized access, change your password immediately and notify security@linabase.com.
• You must provide accurate information at signup and keep it current. We use your email address to send essential account communications; if it stops working, you may miss security notifications and billing receipts.
• You may not create accounts using automated means, by impersonating another person, or to circumvent a prior account suspension.

Your use of Linabase is governed by our Acceptable Use Policy. The AUP covers forbidden content (illegal material, malware, infringing copies), forbidden conduct (cryptomining at scale, fraud infrastructure, spam, abuse), and enforcement. The AUP is incorporated into these Terms by reference. A material violation is grounds for suspension or termination.

You retain ownership of the data, code, and content you put into Linabase. We do not claim rights in it.

To operate the service, you grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, store, transmit, back up, and process your content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you. This licence ends when you delete the content or close your account, subject to the retention windows described in our Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for the legality of your content. You represent that you have the right to upload it and that doing so does not violate any third party's rights or any applicable law.

Linabase uses a pay-as-you-go credit model. Each organization receives a free monthly credit (currently $10) that covers a baseline of database storage, file storage, and bandwidth. Usage above that credit is billed monthly via our payment processor, DodoPayments. Current rates are listed on the pricing page.

• Charges are denominated in US dollars and processed by DodoPayments. We do not store full card details.
• Invoices for any month are issued on the first day of the following month for the month just completed.
• Usage is metered continuously; you can view real-time consumption from the dashboard.
• If a payment fails, we will retry, notify you, and after a reasonable grace period restrict writes on the affected organization. We do not delete your data immediately for non-payment; see "Termination" below for the procedure.
• We do not offer prorated refunds for partial months. We will refund a charge made in error or duplicate; contact privacy@linabase.com within 60 days.
• We may change pricing on at least 30 days' written notice to your account email. Continued use after the change takes effect constitutes acceptance.

Turkish KDV and other applicable taxes are added where required. If you are a business customer in a jurisdiction that supports a reverse-charge mechanism, contact us with your tax registration details.

We work to keep Linabase available, but we do not offer a contractual uptime guarantee at this stage. Scheduled maintenance is announced in advance when reasonably possible. Unscheduled outages are reported on our status communications and post-mortems published when material.

We may add, change, or remove features over time. Material reductions in functionality affecting paid usage are announced at least 30 days in advance. We will not silently delete data you have paid to store.

We may suspend access to your account or specific projects without notice if we reasonably believe:

• Your use of the service materially violates these Terms or the AUP.
• Your use poses an active security threat to other users, our infrastructure, or third parties.
• We are legally compelled to suspend.
• Payment for an organization is overdue beyond the grace period described above.

Where the basis for suspension is not an immediate security threat, we will notify you and give you a reasonable opportunity to address the issue before suspending.

You can close your account at any time from the dashboard or by writing to privacy@linabase.com. We will delete your account data within 30 days, subject to the retention windows in the Privacy Policy (notably: backup snapshots persist until they naturally expire, and billing records subject to Turkish tax law are retained for the required period).

We may terminate your account for material breach of these Terms or the AUP, for prolonged non-payment, or if continuing to provide service to you becomes commercially or legally unviable. We will give you at least 30 days' notice and a reasonable opportunity to export your data before termination, except where immediate termination is required by law or to prevent serious harm.

On termination by either party, sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive — including limitations of liability, indemnification, and governing law — survive.

We provide Linabase "as is" and "as available." We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will meet your specific requirements. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Nothing in this section limits warranties that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer protection laws.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. For users who have not paid us beyond the included monthly free credit, this cap is zero.

We are not liable for: (a) indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages; (b) loss of profits, revenue, data, or business; (c) damages caused by your or a third party's content; (d) damages caused by your failure to follow security practices that we reasonably documented.

These limits apply regardless of the theory of liability (contract, tort, statute, or otherwise) and apply even if we were advised of the possibility of the damages. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits; in those jurisdictions our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by local law.

You agree to indemnify and hold Linabase harmless from any third-party claim arising out of (a) your content, (b) your use of the service in violation of these Terms or the AUP, or (c) your violation of any applicable law or third-party right. We will give you prompt notice of any such claim and allow you to control the defence, provided you do not settle in a way that admits liability on our behalf without our written consent.

Neither party is liable for failure to perform under these Terms to the extent that failure is caused by events beyond reasonable control (natural disasters, war, sabotage, government action, sustained internet failures affecting major regions, pandemics, and similar). The affected party will use reasonable efforts to mitigate and resume performance.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will change the "Last updated" date at the top of the page. Material changes affecting your rights or obligations are announced via email to active account holders at least 30 days before they take effect. If you continue to use the service after a change has taken effect, you accept the updated Terms.

You may not assign these Terms or your account without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms to a successor in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or substantially all of the assets of Linabase, with notice to you.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. The courts of Türkiye have non-exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of these Terms, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction.

Nothing in this section limits any rights you may have under consumer protection laws that cannot be waived by contract.

• If any provision of these Terms is held to be unenforceable, the rest of the Terms remain in effect.
• Failure to enforce a right under these Terms is not a waiver of that right.
• These Terms together with the Privacy Policy and the AUP constitute the entire agreement between you and Linabase regarding the service and supersede prior agreements on the same subject.
• Headings are for convenience only and do not affect interpretation.
